Obsidian: Free program to take and organize notes. Tons of flexibiltity and plugins, I use it for all my bigger projects.
Sublime Text: GOATED text editing program. I use it to to take quick notes that I can organize later in Obsidian.
Stack Overflow: Ask and aswer all your programming questions.
Godot: Free, open source and extremely powerful. Godot is the engine that made gamedev possible to me.
yt-dlp: Terminal app to download youtube videos. If you're not familiar with using a terminal, look some tutorials up. It's worth it if you download YT videos often.
cobalt tools: Web based video downlader/mp3 converter
OBS: Free and open source software to stream/record video.

MK Frame-Link system: Have a site with iframes like me? With this script you can still get custom links so you can share your iframe with a specific content on it!!
Brackets: Code editor with LIVE HTML PREVIEW. Extremely useful if like me, you prefer to iterate in private before uploading to neocities. The program is no longer supported but their new product has some ai shit so it's better to use this old version.
Aseprite: Hands down the best pixel art software I have ever used. (Free if you compile it yourself but consider buying it if you enjoy it)
paint.net: Cool, lightweight drawing/image manipulation program. A lot of the assets for this page were made here.
Boltbait paint.net plugin: useful plugin set to add functionality to paint.net
Blender: Free and open source program for 3D everything! It can also do 2D stuff.
doodad.dev: Site for dithering images.
The Spriters Resource: Textures and sprites from all kinds of retro games.

Vimm's Manual Project: Sadly, Vimm is no longer the ROM site it used to be, but the manual project is still the best place to find old game manuals.
